Sentosa

It was a bright sunny afternoon, great weather for an outing, maybe a bit to hot for the liking. Nonetheless, we hit the Underwater World at sentosa at around 1130am, thanks to the discount Mummy got for signing up as a PA member.

Didi was having fun at the open pool of fishes and sting rays! Their poisonous needles have been romoved and it is safe to touch them. The rays seems to be very willing on thier part too, constantly flapping the wings to the surface.

The jellyfish were awesome, changing colours with the help of spotlights. We continued our journey in the underwater world looking at the beautiful fishes before heading for lunch, a very expensive lunch indeed! ($20 for 2 wanton noodles and 1 chicken rice?!)

We head for the dolphin lagoon to catch the 130pm show after lunch. The pinks dolphins were very beautiful and well trained, using their flippers to wave hello and performing lotsa tricks.

After the show, we decided at we have exhausted our energy under the burning sunlight. Home sweet home....

Dragon Hunting

It's Children's day, and also a public holiday for Hari Raya. Our extended family went to the Jacob Ballas Children Garden for a picnic. While the children have fun at the fountain area, the daddies were busy testing out their cameras on the dragons.

Besides the fountains, there are many other educational areas for the children to explore. More information on the garden can be found here.
