Matty Hurt His Chin

Matty have a very bad fall today while playing with Didi, he slipped and knocked his chin against the bed frame. The chin area along the jaw bones were swollen and the gums were bleeding. No pics available as the he refused to be seen in the bad shape. But I tot he looks like hong kong actor 林峰 with the bigger jaws.

Hairdresser from Hell

The new year is coming and time for everyone to have a nice haircut, including didi. 大姑 is a trained hairdresser, taking over the family barber role from 爸爸阿公, who was a barber by profession some years back.

The initial setup was along the coridoor, but papa and mummy have a real hard time getting didi to settle down, it ended with some uneven cuts.

Time for damage control, the venue was shifted to the bathroom and a swimming pool was setup for our prince. As u can see from the pics...the rest was history, except some damage was already done and beyond repair.....

I tot the end product was pretty ok... hahaha... cute i should say, except that auntie dulce says didi looks like 阿旺

Toy Review: Monster Truck & Chi Hua Hua

The monster truck was bought for Matty as a Christmas present, it comes with adual axle monster truck and a radio control controller. The set comes with rechargable batteries which was a major plus point over all previous control cars that we have bought. Didi likes it more then 哥哥, especially when the truck break dances.

Fun Factor: 4/5 Stars
Value for Money: 3/5 Stars (Not exactly cheap, but comes with rechargable batteries)

The Chi Hua Hua is also a christmas present for Didi, dun it looks like the real thing? And it works like the real thing too! It walks, backoff and also barks. Best of all, it does not shit and u just need to off the button when it gets too noisy.

Gift from Krabi

小姨 went to krabi for her honey moon, there is a shark tooth necklace for matty and a cute hippo hat for didi.

But seems like didi dun like hippos and refuses to put it on. Gotta to get some help from 哥哥 for a photo shoot.

Back to the Drawing Board

As 妹妹 due date looms closer, the brainstorming exercise to choose her name intensifies.....

爸爸's favorite is 禹嫣, 多么诗情画意. Mummy seems to favour 禹宁.

Soccer Training

Have been conducting several sessions of soccer training for Didi the last few weeks. Matty and I were both impressed with the strength and accuracy of his shot!

Despite showing signs of a right hander, Didi is a 100% left legger. We conducted 10 penalty kicks for him, and 10 out of 10 he took it with his left! Signs of a great player?

Calender Boy Dylan

Dylan was featured in Baby Jumper Gym's 2007 Table Calender, courtesy of 姨妈, who runs the training centre based on the WholeBrain Learning Approach. Dylan has been attending the training since young, and we are very impressed with his progress, especially his motor skills.

Fight on School Bus

There was a fight on the school bus back home today, Matty have a bruised cheek, courtesy of a right uppercut from another P1 schoolmate. Decided not to report this to the school admin as I thought this is part and parcel of growing up, it's a boy's school anyway.

Ripped off for Passport photos

Brought Matty for a photo shoot this morning, besides being charged $6 for 4 pieces of passport phtos, above all...it was darn poorly taken. Just can't bare to see my son in that mess.....

Time for papa to do something....out came my trusty casio Z40, 20 snapshots and the help of ePassportPhoto.com.....viola! Rushed to the nearest Kodak Express....and printed out 8 photos on a 4R paper for 60 cents!
